He also took aim at news outlets trying to turn Kamala Harris into a great president, insisting that just doesn't work.
Edith Marrow: On this date the market saw DJT move alongside SPY, QQQ, VIXY, IWM, and crypto assets. The volatility was present, but as always, we note only that it moved without claiming any direction or cause linked to his posts about legal victories.
Edith Marrow: Then comes 2025. He touts a huge win in a lawsuit against CBS and Paramount, putting the settlement figure at $16 Million with an anticipated additional $20 Million for programming, totaling over $36 Million. That same day he announced a trade deal with Indonesia eliminating some number percent of their tariff barriers while charging some number percent on imports into the United States.
Edith Marrow: He promised some number in deals for Boeing and American energy products. The market that day saw XLF move alongside DJT, FXI, SMH, SPY, QQQ, VIXY, IWM, and crypto assets. A fortune was claimed on paper while the indexes whipsawed.
Edith Marrow: And now we land in 2026 — today. He is shouting about a crooked election system after sharing a link claiming some number of foreigners voted in New Jersey elections. Then he issues a stark warning: if Iran shoots at ships in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States will bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant near Tehran.
Edith Marrow: What has changed? The stakes have escalated from legal arguments to specific dollar settlements and trade percentages, then straight into threats against infrastructure. What never changes is the rhythm: a post declaring victory over opponents, followed by markets that simply move without care for who won or lost. He keeps talking; the tape just keeps spinning.
