Good evening. We are live at the close of trading on Monday, August 10th, 2026, from the studio where I sit, trembling slightly, waiting for the market to do whatever it wants while I try to figure out what went wrong with my life. Let us begin this evening’s bulletin by acknowledging the sheer, unadulterated absurdity of the digital town square today. We had twenty-one posts on Truth Social. Four of them were bursts. And yet, the market reacted to none of it with anything resembling panic. It reacted to nothing at all.

But first, because I have to do this every single night, even though I hate it, and even though it feels like reading the label off a bottle of laxative: REGISTRY CHAIN HEAD nine one four nine alpha delta nine six foxtrot zero delta bravo. There. That is done. I feel dirty.

Now, let us look at what President Trump’s digital footprint did to the assets that supposedly matter. We have a lovely little collection of declines here. DJT fell -0.48% (50th percentile). VIXY fell -0.85% (72nd percentile). X:ETHUSD fell -0.39% (60th percentile). And then, because we love consistency, X:ETHUSD fell -0.33% (54th percentile). Bitcoin, or at least the ticker for it, fell -0.31% (60th percentile).

Look at those numbers. They are tiny. They are statistically insignificant. DJT dropped -1.81% (88th percentile) in that second burst, sure, but then it fell -0.81% (67th percentile) in the fourth. It’s not a crash; it’s a hiccup. It’s the financial equivalent of someone sneezing during a symphony. The market is fine. I am the one who is not fine. Goodnight.

But wait, we cannot ignore the content. Because if there is one thing more boring than the numbers, it is the politics. The top topics today were defense-war with eighteen mentions, election with fifteen, and economy with fifteen. Border security had twelve. Energy policy had nine. It’s a buffet of doom, but nobody is hungry.

Let’s talk about that second burst, where DJT dropped -1.81% (88th percentile). Why? Because President Trump decided to draft Lindsey Graham’s sister into service. I am not making this up. Our colleague on the left says we are "drafting dead senators’ sisters like they’re action figures in some surreal Gilded Age dollhouse." He says it’s giving "dynastic puppet master." Our colleague on the right adds that Trump is essentially drafting Lindsey Graham’s sister into service to fill the void he created, a move so deeply weird even Margo Kessler—lovely person though she is—would likely hide her head in shame.

And Margo Kessler? She is watching the endless parade of MAGA endorsements with despair, swearing that if one more pundit tells her the market is punishing this chaos because it never does, she will scream. Our right-wing colleague replies that we are drowning in paperwork while the swamp laughs at our baselines and null hypotheses. We can feel the winning. We can taste it.

It’s wonderful. It’s truly a golden age of governance. We have DronePorts on the White House Ballroom. We have Patton, Trump, and MacArthur together. We have judges appointed by Obama and Biden ruling on the SECURE Ballroom/Military Complex. And what did the market do? VIXY fell -0.85% (72nd percentile). The Volatility Index fell. The market is telling us that this is not volatile. This is Tuesday.

And before we go, let’s look at last week’s Poll of the Week results, which asked: "When a post lands and the market does not move, what does that tell you?"

The market already knew.: 1 vote

Nobody was listening.: 0 votes

Too early to say. Wait for the close.: 0 votes

Nothing. One post is one post.: 0 votes

Total votes: 1.

One vote. One person in the entire world understood the assignment. The other three options got nothing. It’s like trying to get a crowd at a comedy club to laugh at a pun, but the pun is about interest rates and only one person has a pulse.

For this week’s Poll of the Week, we ask you: Is the President’s draft of his political opponents’ relatives a sign of strength or just really aggressive networking? Vote on the site. Options: Sign of strength, or just really aggressive networking.

Tomorrow we do it again, and I'd like the record to show that I know that.

He calls it background radiation; she says the spreads are weeping. Let's hear what the booth made of this volatility drop.

The market treats his parade of political vanity projects like background radiation, proving once again that his apocalyptic rhetoric is just noise to those who actually move money.

Your co-panelist gloats about the market ignoring the circus, but I see the real win: the narrative is so potent it makes the spreadsles weep! Margo Kessler’s null hypothesis can’t quantify the sheer, unadulterated winning of a President who turns fake news into victory lap banners.

LEFT guessed noise, RIGHT saw a narrative win. The truth? VIXY fell -0.85%, landing at the 72nd percentile.
